Lutes of the Silk Road – Concert and Workshop

Following the success of the Lutes of the Silk Road project funded by the Arts Council England in July 2024 — which included workshops and a concert at the BGL Theatre, SOAS, University of London — the ensemble has been invited by the Lute Society to present a special talk and concert.

Initiated and led by Professor Cheng Yu, this cross-cultural project brings together musicians from China, Central Asia, and the Middle East, showcasing both traditional and improvised music on a variety of lutes and string instruments.
