The UK Chinese Music Ensemble is delighted to be invited to perform at Cardiff University for CrossCurrent, a concert exploring the dialogue between traditional Chinese instrumental music and contemporary chamber compositions.

Taking place on Tuesday, 25 November 2025 at 7:00 PM, the programme will feature a range of works for pipa, guzheng, and Chinese–Western ensemble, including new premieres. The concert celebrates the evolution of Chinese music in the modern world, while honouring its rich heritage.

This event is presented by Cardiff University in collaboration with the Cardiff Confucius Institute.
